AppHub for Developers

AppHub Developer Agreement

Version 2026-10-15. Between you (the "Developer") and Bulk Bazaar Inc., Ontario, Canada, operating AppHub as NextGen Zone ("AppHub", "we").

1. What this agreement covers

It covers apps you send to AppHub (apps.ngz.ca, the AppHub app for phones and TVs, and places where we show AppHub apps). By creating a developer account you accept it. If you accept for a company, you confirm you may bind that company.

2. Your account

  1. Give true details: your name or company, country, support email and a working privacy policy link. Keep them up to date.
  2. Sign-up is free for our first 100 developers. Later developers may pay a one-time sign-up fee, shown before they sign up.
  3. From 2027 Android expects apps on certified devices to come from developers verified by Google. Add your Android developer verification ID to your profile as soon as you have it; we may hide apps from developers without one when Android requires it.
  4. Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what is done with your account.

3. Your apps

  1. You own your app, or have every right needed to publish it, including its name, pictures, code, music, video and any content it shows.
  2. You give AppHub a non-exclusive, worldwide, free licence to store, copy, check, test, show and distribute your app, its listing and pictures, so people can find, install and update it. You can remove your app at any time; people who already installed it may keep it.
  3. Your APK must be signed with your own key. Every update must use the same key; we refuse updates signed with a different key.
  4. You tell the truth in your listing: what the app does, what data it collects, whether it has ads, and its age rating.
  5. You give users support through your support email, and you follow the privacy laws that apply to you, including Canada's PIPEDA when you have Canadian users. Your privacy policy covers the data your app collects; AppHub's policy covers only AppHub itself.

4. Checks, testers and review

  1. Every version is checked automatically (signature, copies of other apps, risky code, virus scan and a test run on emulators). Results show in your Developer Console.
  2. A first version goes to Early Access testers before it goes to everyone. Testers' reports are shared with you; tester reviews do not count in public star ratings.
  3. AppHub may decide, at its own judgment, whether to publish, keep, hide or remove any app or version, including after it is live, and may block an account that breaks this agreement. We tell you why when we can.
  4. Passing our checks does not mean we promise your app is safe or legal. You remain responsible for it.

5. Money (paid apps come later)

  1. Phase 1: AppHub accepts free apps only. Do not charge inside your app or link to payment pages from it while it is listed as free, unless we have switched on paid apps for you.
  2. When paid apps and purchases inside apps open, AppHub will be the seller to the user and will collect sales taxes. You will receive 85% of the price before tax (90% for subscriptions; 95% during your first year), paid monthly through our payment provider once you reach the minimum. Refunds and chargebacks are taken from your share. The full payment terms will be added to this agreement before any money flows, and you will be asked to accept them.
  3. AppHub may sell "Featured" spots; buying one never changes our safety checks or reviews.

6. Content rules

These apps are not allowed on AppHub:

7. Responsibility

  1. AppHub is a distributor, not the maker of your app. You will defend and repay AppHub (indemnify) against claims, costs and losses caused by your app, your content or your breaking this agreement or the law.
  2. AppHub is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, AppHub is not liable for indirect or lost-profit damages, and its total liability to you is limited to CA$100 or the amounts it paid you in the last 12 months, whichever is more.
  3. Copyright and other complaints: write to [email protected] with the app, what is infringed and your contact details. We forward valid notices to the developer and may remove the app.

8. Changes and ending

  1. We may update this agreement; we show the new version in the Developer Console and you accept it to keep publishing. Changes do not apply backwards.
  2. You may close your account at any time by deleting your apps and writing to [email protected]. We may close an account that breaks this agreement.
  3. Ontario law and the laws of Canada apply. Courts in Ontario decide disputes.
